Pick up spinach leaves and green onions in the produce department, then swing by the deli for melon and strawberries. Add our Orange-Honey Dressing, and voilà--instant salad!
cups bite-size pieces fresh spinach
cups sliced strawberries (1 pint)
cups cubed cantaloupe
medium green onions, sliced (6 tablespoons)
Make Orange-Honey Dressing.
Toss remaining ingredients with dressing.
Even though the bag of spinach leaves may say “triple washed,” go ahead and give them another rinse to make sure your salad is dirt free!
Skip a step! Use a store-bought raspberry vinaigrette instead of the homemade Orange-Honey Dressing.
This is a great salad to be creative with by using other fresh ingredients that are in season. Baby spinach and other melon varieties such as honeydew can be used. Squeeze fresh oranges for the juice required for the dressing.
