These were a bit of a disappointment for me since they didn't come out looking like the picture. My fruit sank to the bottom to dress them up a bit I put strawberry jam on top of each. People seemed to like them well enough at the dinner party but no one raved and no ate seconds. The recipe was easy enough to follow and like others suggested I didn't pre bake the crust so they were pretty easy to cut.

This is just wonderful and most definitely the most frequently requested dessert for every family event. I find when I cook the bottom crust for 5/8 minutes and then follow the rest of the recipe, it's just perfect. I also use a SPRING FORM pan, and man what a difference that made. I put the strawberry (or our favorite IS raspberry) spread in a circle and then cut through with a knife like I was making up 8 slices...then I swirl. IT ALWAYS COMES OUT SO PRETTY!!! Let it cool and then I cut the slices very thin and it makes for a party favorite every single time!!

Easy to make. I doubled the filling, as commenters suggested. Definitely need to cover loosely w/tinfoil for half the bake time as it takes much longer to set (a little longer than double the time). I also did not pre-bake the crust, and it was easy to cut. One comment I got was a preference for a stronger cream cheese flavor.
