These cupcakes are very yummy, especially with the cream cheese frosting, but I didn't find them any different that if you just used strawberry cake mix.

The cake is a very pretty pink color (you notice that when you bite into it). It tasted like a vanilla cupcake to me. I couldn't taste any strawberry flavor what so ever. The strawberry pop appers to be used like food coloring vs. having an impact on taste.

I made these for a friendds birthday and did rootbeer not strawberry pop and I used three Tbs of pop for the frosting and one Tbs of powdered sugar to thicken the frosting. It was delish and were gone in seconds!!! :) I will definitely make this again!! Idk 'bout you but next time I'm trying Sunkist cupcakes and strawberry pop frosting, or maybe sprite and lemon frosting... this is going to be a toughie!!!
