doubled the eggs, used ground lamb. rosemary and sweet basil as necessary. dusted with ground dill just before serving. Works well with ham as well. works for our family, and has worked as neighberhood supper dish as well. when using ham, i have added some ground cloves as well

What a hit. So quick to make, cuts and serves beautifully. Served it to 18 women last Wednesday, no leftovers. The chives and tomato slice were lovely on each plate. Light, tasty, and going to be a repeat recipe at our house all summer long.

After years of trying different egg bake recipies for our traditional Christmas morning brunch, I FINALLY found the one I will use from now on. This was outstanding and very easy to make. I didn't use a wisk; I simply blended all of the ingredients in a blender except the flour, then added the flour last and fully blended. I made one with just ham and cheese, and one with a bunch of different veggies (gr pepper, gr onion, tomatoes, mushrooms). Everyone loved it, including my very picky daughter who usually never touches the egg bake. She was thrilled to know that we had some left over. One note...I found the recipe a little confusing with the amount of cheese to use. I feel it should read "2 cups total of a combination of Cheddar, Monterey Jack, and American. (8 ounces total)

I am probably one of the worst "cooks" (laughable to say about myself) in the world. If I can follow this recipe and make it a smash hit - then anyone can! :) I've made this dish several times and it always gets rave reviews.

I tried this for a company potluck and it was gone before I even got there! I only used half the amount of sour cream and doubled the recipe. I am coming back to make it for another company party.

I would suggest this dish for a brunch party. This is a great dish and you can put any thing you want in it, from different breakfast meats to just vegetables. Try it you and your family will love it.
