Taking a cue from Mediterranean cuisine, this colorful meat loaf boasts the flavors of toasted nuts, fresh basil and garlic.
For variety, you can use a combination of ground beef, pork and turkey, or wrap the meat loaf in bacon before baking.
You’ll want to set aside a slice or two of this meat loaf before you bring it to the table so you’ll have leftovers for sandwiches the next day. Stuffed in pita bread along with chopped sun-dried tomatoes in oil and a tablespoon or two of plain yogurt, this meat loaf is even better the second time around!
