Ingredients

1: cup spiced rum

4: cups root beer, chilled

12: to 16 large marshmallows

Directions

1 In each of 4 glasses, pour 1/4 cup rum. Fill each with cold root beer.
2 Garnish top of each glass with marshmallows. Using kitchen torch, lightly toast tops of marshmallows. Serve with straws.

EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Instead of using a kitchen torch to toast the tops of the marshmallows, carefully toast the marshmallows separately (not in the glass) under a broiler for about 1 minute. However, be sure to watch closely as they will toast quickly.

Replace spiced rum with gold or dark rum, if desired.
