i would have to say this is bland. i even put 1 1/2 cups of salsa 1 1/2 teas.of chili powder and 1/2 a teaspoon cheyenne pepper. after cooking the everything i did try it noticed it was missing something so we put in bobs country seasoning salt to taste. that helped a liitlle bit. and also i used seasoned black beans. i would say this is not the best recipe but not the worst. everyone ate it all. if i make it again will have to tryand figure out the missing ingredient.will have to say it was very easy to make.

I tried this with some changes. I rubbed chili, cayenne, adobo, tumeric, and salt into the chicken(which I cubed). I then cooked it in oil with garlic and onions. I didn't have mexicorn so I used diced tomatoes with chilis. I used canned corn, black beans and threw in some vegetarian beans. I did add the salsa and let it simmer. I thought it was pretty good. Not bland with all the flavoring I put it.

It was good, but very bland at first... so I added a good bit of cayenne pepper, extra chili powder, and cumin (the same spices used in southwestern eggrolls) to the vegetable mixture while it was still simmering, and it made it a gazillion times better. Next time I think I will add some chopped up jalepeno peppers as well.

I thought it was pretty good. Maybe a little bland for my tastes. Next time I'll add more salsa.

It isn't bad, but it isn't amazing either. I like it, but my husband finds it a bit too bland and lackluster, so I won't make this too often. It is very easy to make, however.
