The spicy aroma of home-baked cookies makes it almost impossible to not eat them warm from the oven. So, if you end up with extra frosting you'll know why.

These cookies were very easy to make but taste very mediocre. I added pecans and and craisins instead of raisins. I guess I don't care for the cakey texture when I'm eating a cookie. I would only make these again if I had pumpkin I needed to use before it went bad.

Absolutely wonderful! The easiest cookies I've ever made. I made them as instructed but substituted pecans for the raisins and added a little brown sugar, about 1/2 a cup. I cooked them for 12 minutes as I prefer them soft and they were excellent. My hungry family ate them all that night! Thanks!

Enter your review here...These are the best cookies I think I've ever made! My husband also thinks they are the best and had me make them for all his friends at Christmas.

Around our house we call these cookies "EVIL" because we can't stop eating them. We don't do the raisins, but follow the rest of the recipe. These are a favorite whenever I bring them to work or family events, and they are SO easy to make. I LOVE LOVE LOVE these cookies!

After reading how these were cake consistency more than cookie I decided I would tweak it a little to make it better for shipping to the troops I bake for. I substituted the yellow cake mix for spice cake mix, deleted the spices. I kept the raisins but used 1/4 C. raisins and 1/4 C. craisins. I also added 1/3 C. pecan dust. I used the same temperature to bake in mini cupcake pans and baked for 20 min. Definitely have to "cake test" to see if done. I finished with a caramel kiss. They were a hit here at home and I hope equally a hit with the guys I bake for.

Good holiday cookie. I added raisins and walnuts. Make sure to flatten the cookie before baking or they will come out oblong. You'll find that flattening this dough is not easy. Not my favorite cookie to eat but everyone at the my work potluck loved them so I'll make them again.

Cute cookies! I suggest you flatten the cookies a bit before placing them into the oven. They come out looking the same as they did going in! I left the raisins out and, after trying the cookies, I realized I should have probably used the raisins - or maybe pecans? The pumpkin spice really gives these cookies their flavor, so don't skimp on it. I used a homemade cream cheese frosting (which I put into a ziplock bag and drizzled over the cookie) instead of the premade.

The kids and I Loved these cookies with Cream chease frosting on top of them. I also added about 1/2 cup brown sugar. They were great though, and soooo easy! Thanks for sharing

These cookies were great. My husband was a little uneased about trying them because of the pumpkin but once he did they did not last. I share this recipe with everyone I know who likes to cook.
