Ingredients

cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour
1 1/2
cups packed brown sugar

teaspoons baking powder

teaspoon baking soda
2
teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/2
cup vegetable oil
1/2
cup apple juice
1
can (15 oz) pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
2
eggs

Frosting

1
container (16 oz) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy cream cheese ready-to-spread frosting

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening; lightly flour. In large bowl with electric mixer, beat bar ingredients on low speed until moistened. Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Spread batter in pan.
  • 2 Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
  • 3 Spread frosting over cooled bars. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes. Cut into 8 rows by 6 rows. Store in refrigerator.

It's healthy, yummy and moist. My husband and my daughter loves it too. :) I am glad that I tried this recipe. I did not have 15x10 inch pan, so I used 13x10 instead and baked 35 minutes.
