I made these the other night....not bad, but definitely tastes like diet food. I agree with one of the other members about the mixture being too wet to form into patties, so I had to end up adding quite a bit of bread crumbs. My husband said, "it tastes like biting into bean dip." I happen to like bean dip so I don't mind too much...they do make you very full though. I also added salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder into the mixture. I froze the leftover patties and buns & plan to warm these up whenever I am out of time & need supper. I probably won't make them again though.

These were Ok but not great. They didn't hold together very well and weren't very flavorful. I did add some garlic powder to it and some panko bread crumbs because the mixture was kind of runny. They didn't taste too bad but I have had better veggie bean burgers. I topped it with a slice of cheese that help give some flavor. If I made again I would have to add some soy or something because I didn't really care for the texture either.

Delicious! I used bush chili beans and added 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. I will definitely make this again!

This was my first try of a veggie burger, and I was quite surprised. I'm a meat eater, so I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. These were great. Everyone loved them. A keeper for sure.

I am not a spicy person and substituted great northern beans instead of the spicy beans. The burger was good but a little sweet(which was slightly off putting.) The next time I make these burgers, and there will be a next time, I will add some spices to make up for the not spicy beans.

My family is not even close to vegetarians, but I was just looking for a new and healthy meal. My whole family loved it, the burger was delicious....and they didn't even know it was "healthy". We will definitely have these again.

Made it the first time following the recipe and thought it was really good. Made it a second time with a few additions; added a small can of mild diced green chilis and a few shakes of chili sauce. I now make & freeze the burgers to use in tacos in place of ground beef.
