On chicken tenders before cooking, frying, or baking,,IS there a way to make your own chicken tenders and how big should there be? do I let the butcher do it or can I simply buy them

After reading the reviews I will try this putting the dredge in a ziploc bag to reduce mess and more evenly coat the chicken and will use splenda instead of sugar. The double dredging can be messy. Will try to do all the chicken at once and let the pieces sit in the mix for a few minutes after the second dredge to help the mix adhere to the chicken. I hope this tastes as good as it sounds and hope I remember to come back to write a follow up after I've made it.

You should rewatch the video...this came out great !! There is one procedure thats not mentioned in the steps but is in the video. As for the sugar...think about it! Leave it out and remake them and see what you come up with.

Big gooey mess just about covers my review of this recipe. I am not a novice at cooking but I challenge ANYONE to get this recipe to turn out any differently than the results the three of us reviewers got.

Have been searching for a recipe for baked, crispy chicken tenders for a while and have tried quite a few. After watching the video for this recipe, I decided to give it a try. Couldn't really figure out why the procedure called for adding some of the egg mixture to the dry ingredients. As it turned out, this is a big mistake. Came out with nothing but a big, gooey mess and more than half of the chicken tenders were bare-naked! And I, too, couldn't see where the sugar came into play. Won't be putting this recipe into my recipe book. Sorry.

I'm going to try the dredge mix and egg on country fried steak instead of chicken and see how it comes out. What is the sugar for? It's listed on the ingredients but not in the procedure. Meanwhile, I'll give this 3 spoons until dinner tonight.
