RE maldo: The recipe has a sentence in step 2 that says "In medium bowl, stir remaining ingredients until blended." These remaining ingredients include the Bisquick, milk, salt, pepper, and eggs. They are stirred until blended and poured over the beef mixture in the 13x9" baking dish. It's a type of an Impossibly Easy pie. :) Hope this helps.

This recipe was excellent! It was not mushy AT ALL, was very flavorful & my whole family loved it. The only thing I did a little differently was season my hamburger with some seasoning salt - maybe that is why mine wasn't bland as some of the others have said? We will definitely be adding this recipe to the menu!

I thought this was really good. No noodles to boil and drain. I added sauted a BUNCH of garlic (that's how I roll), green pepper, mushrooms, beef and italian sausage, extra italian seasoning, & a lot more onion. I thought the cottage cheese was a good choice, seeing that I use cottage cheese in my regular lasagna anyway (just never liked ricotta to begin with) and added real parmesean regiano and grated it myself, but I doubled the amount. Half in with the bottom and half on top with the extra cheese. I don't see what everyone was compaining about. Mine was NOT bland, it was NOT mushy, it was NOT gross. Some people I've seen just can't cook and won't try. If I make something and it doesn't turn out the way I thought it should have turned out, I try to think of something that I messed up. Nine times out of ten, that's exactly what happened. My cat (fuzzybutt) even liked it, it was great.

After reading the other reviews, I got a little nervous about making this recipe. However, we had already bought all of the ingredients to make it. So, I went ahead and whipped it up. The cooking process was pretty simple. Throughout the baking period, the dish filled the house with a spicy tomato smell. The aroma was wonderful. By the time I pulled the pan out of the oven, my boyfriend and I were very hungry. The dish positively surprised me. It was very good. It was even better the next day. My boyfriend and I continued to eat the leftovers for a couple of days and completely finished the pan. I will definitely make this dish again; however, I will substitute the tomato sauce with spaghetti sauce, like Prego or Ragu.

I was looking forward to this, because I thought it sounded good and maybe my husband would eat it. He won't eat any noodles. But, alas, although this smelled fabulous, it did NOT taste good at all. I ate a couple pieces, over 2-3 days, but the kids tasted it and then had something else. My husband didn't even bother to taste it. So it was a waste of all the ingredients. Too bad. It really SOUNDED like it was going to be good. Very disappointing.

I made this fully realizing it wasn't going to be like a traditional lasagna made with noodles. I used one pound ground beef and one pound bulk Italian Sweet Sausage adding sauteed chopped onions, green pepper and sliced mushrooms. In place of cottage cheese I used Ricotta. With these additions and substitutions we found the lasagna quite tasty and not bland or mushy as some who posted in their review found it to be. Substituting the Ricotta for the Cottage cheese may have helped with the mushy problem of the dish. Per my family's request I will definitely be making this again.

I thought it tastes rather bad. It was mushy and the topping was gross to me. Next time I will try the traditional lasagna with noodles.
