This was the recipe I used to make my first causa and it tunerd out great. The family loved it because it looked great and tasted great too. Some things I learned while making it I found the potato mash too wet initially, but corrected this by adding instant mashed potato powder until I got the right consistency Using a plastic sheet like a freezer film makes kneading and rolling easy and non-stick And you can use a cookie cutter to make quick and easy potato disks for individual causas like in the picture.

I made these for our Super Bowl party tonight and they turned out great! I added an extra 1/2 cup of chicken and 1/2 cup of cheese. I also used the larger flaky biscuits and just peeled them in half. It made 52 cups, which meant there were a few extra for us to test ourselves, and they turned out great!

My husband and I loved these! They made for a fun dinner and combined everything we love! I grilled the onions in butter before adding them and also added some chopped jalapeños. I used the large biscuits but they turned out to be too big. I could not fit enough of the chicken mixture in the middle without it overflowing. Next time I will split the biscuits in half.
