cup spiced gin (2 oz)

teaspoons simple syrup

teaspoons lime juice

  1. Add ice to lowball or highball glass. In bottom of cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add ice, gin, simple syrup, lime juice and bitters; shake until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice and mint. Garnish with mint sprig.

If you don’t have a muddler, use a wooden spoon to muddle the mint leaves. Muddling herbs releases their flavor.
