Ice cubes
fresh mint leaves
cup spiced gin (2 oz)
4 1/2
teaspoons simple syrup
4 1/2
teaspoons lime juice
drops aromatic bitters
fresh mint sprig

  • 1 Add ice to lowball or highball glass. In bottom of cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add ice, gin, simple syrup, lime juice and bitters; shake until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice and mint. Garnish with mint sprig.

Expert Tips

Regular dry gin can be used instead of the spiced gin.

If you don’t have a muddler, use a wooden spoon to muddle the mint leaves. Muddling herbs releases their flavor.
