Ingredients

  • Ice cubes
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup spiced gin (2 oz)
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons simple syrup
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 3 drops aromatic bitters
  • 1 fresh mint sprig

Steps

  • 1
Add ice to lowball or highball glass. In bottom of cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add ice, gin, simple syrup, lime juice and bitters; shake until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice and mint. Garnish with mint sprig.

Tips from the Betty Crocker Kitchens

  • tip 1
Regular dry gin can be used instead of the spiced gin.
  • tip 2
If you don’t have a muddler, use a wooden spoon to muddle the mint leaves. Muddling herbs releases their flavor.
