Ingredients

Ice cubes

fresh mint leaves
1/4
cup spiced gin (2 oz)
4 1/2
teaspoons simple syrup
4 1/2
teaspoons lime juice
3
drops aromatic bitters
1
fresh mint sprig

  • 1 Add ice to lowball or highball glass. In bottom of cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add ice, gin, simple syrup, lime juice and bitters; shake until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice and mint. Garnish with mint sprig.

Regular dry gin can be used instead of the spiced gin.

If you don’t have a muddler, use a wooden spoon to muddle the mint leaves. Muddling herbs releases their flavor.
