Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound boneless smoked ham or pork chops, cubed
  • 1 1/2 pounds fresh green beans, cut into 1- to 2-inch pieces
  • 1 medium onion, cut into eighths
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Steps

    Mix all ingredients in 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.

    Cover and cook on low heat setting 6 to 8 hours or until beans are tender.
