Southern Baked Macaroni and Cheese

cups uncooked elbow macaroni (about 6 oz)
eggs, beaten
block (10 oz) extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 1/4
cups milk
Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In Dutch oven or 3-quart saucepan, cook and drain macaroni as directed on package.
  • 2 In 9-inch square baking dish, mix cooked macaroni, beaten eggs and shredded cheese. Add milk, salt and pepper; mix well.
  • 3 Bake 45 minutes. Enjoy!

Expert Tips

You can make this ahead and put in your fridge. However, you might want to add a little more milk before baking.
