So-Simple Salsa Dip

Salsa's great served alone with chips, but mixing and heating it with cream cheese makes a wonderfully warm dip!

EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Vary the amount of "heat" in this dip by purchasing mild, medium or hot salsa or picante sauce.

This dip is easy to microwave. Place cream cheese and salsa in 1-quart microwavable casserole. Microwave uncovered on High 3 to 5 minutes, stirring every minute, until cheese is melted.

Make this appetizer colorful for the holidays. Surround the dip with red and green tortilla chips.

I have been making this dip for years! Every time I make it I get very little because it gets eat up. I make mine cold and leave it that way; do not heat it up. Also, I serve it with Ritz little salt crackers and/or corn chips. It does not taste good with any other chips; my family and I have tried all kinds.

Not a fan of this dip...made it for a super bowl party and when the party was over the dip had not been touched. Really disappointed.

I loved this dip! I made it for camp and everyone loved it and I had to make more the next night. I served it cold and added fine shredded taco cheese. But someone suggested ground beef... any thoughts?
