So I am a huge fan of Snickerdoodle Cookies and heard of Snickerdoodle Cupcakes while watching the tv show Shameless. Once I heard this existed I began the search for a recipe. These took me a bit longer to make due to the fact I don't have an electric mixer, so had to mix by hand. So once it was done I had no idea what to expect and it was pure heaven in my mouth. No joke, the most beautiful tasting cupcakes I have ever tasted. They are so filling and moist. Stop sitting around, debating on whether or not to make these. DO IT!!! Also for an added bonus before topping the cupcakes with the sugar and cinnamon garnish. I made Snickerdoodle Cookies and then broke them into fours and topped each cupcake with 1/4 cookie standing like a shark fin and then sprinkled with the sugar/cinnamon garnish. Hope you find this review helpful.

My family loved these! They are super light and fluffy if you are adding your egg whites one at a time. I have made these many times now. I have never had a fail! I even made them for teachers and friends birthdays!

These were good, but not as sweet as I would have thought. I did use vanilla almond milk instead of regular milk though. Not sure if that made a difference, everything I read online said it would make things sweeter....

I used applesauce instead of the shortening. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea. The cake part was VERY heavy. Didn't come out light and airy. It could be that my baking powder was too old. Going to try it again and see what the results are! The icing is great and yes, definitely cut it in half! Saving the other half for the next batch tomorrow night!

Delicious! They were a big hit at our party. I did use butter and applesauce in place of shortening and I made cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Highly recommend!

This has to be my favorite cupcake recipe. I am not much of a sweet-eater, however, these are wonderful! I took a few to work the next day and you would not believe the compliments I received from my coworkers. There is a perfect amount of cinnamon in the recipe and I used real butter. I did have extra frosting left over, so if you like a cupcake heavily frosted, you won't go wrong with this recipe.

Only going by the reviews I made 72 of these for a Luncheon, they were perfect. If you make the recipe exactly like the directions say you will get more than 24 regular cupcakes out of this with plenty of frosting (now I don't over do the frosting). I measured them out with a scoop to keep them consistent. It was a perfect Fall like dessert paired with the Easy Caramel Apple Bar. Like anything, Pans, and Ovens vary so you have to watch the first batch. Batter was light and baked up beautifully. Would highly recommend if you want a different cupcake, not one was left and I did not see one get tossed out at the event, a real winner!!!

These are great! But I would change one thing , the amount of frosting, its just to much for one batch.Either half the frosting or double the cupcake mix.
