This turned out like it was supposed to. Very easy. However, I like snickerdoodle cookies better than the bars. They come out better and the cinnamon and sugar is more spread out. This recipe the cinnamon and sugar was in the middle and didn't get throughout the whole dessert. Also, a little too much like cake or a brownie type of deal. I also make my snickerdoodle cookies with cream of tartar and they are so very soft and I can put as much cinnamon and sugar on top of them as I like. Don't get me wrong this is a good recipe if you like bars. I didn't in this case. Chocolate chip heck yeah but not snickerdoodle.

These are really good and easy to make. I'm not a big fan of powdered sugar, so I used canned frosting instead, softening it in the microwave and then drizzling over the bars.

These were so easy to make and you most likely have all the ingredients on hand. The kids devoured them. My friends loved them and asked for recipe right away. Great for a coffee cake like food too.

Bars turned out great. I think they would be fine with or without the glaze if you like them a little less sweet. I did add a teaspoon of cream of tartar just to give them a more snickerdoodle cookie taste. The batter was a little thick, kind of like consistency of a brownie batter. The dollops of batter that go on top of the cinnamon/sugar do straighten themselves out so don't be too concerned about spreading them out.

I made these as per the recipe and found the flavor missing something. I looked at the snickerdoodle cookie recipe and found there was no cream of tartar in the bars. That was the flavor that was missing. I'm going to try it in the next bars I make and see if they taste more like the cookie.

Delicious and easy! I followed recipe exactly, except made only half the amount of glaze. Very moist and tasty. I had company and the whole pan was gone in no time, with requests for another batch!

Delicious!! Family LOVED it! I have to agree with some of the other reviews that said batter seemed thick.I was concerned about dryness so I added a fourth egg an a half cup of whole milk. I also cooked it in a 9 in. square baking pan, not the recommended 9x13. Definitely moist. I also added a tablespoon of softened butter to the frosting, made it creamier and not so sweet.

This is super delicious. Got rave reviews from my neighbors. I might try making them next time but adding a can of apple pie filling over the cinnamon/suger mixture before adding the top layer. Sounds good to me.

Made these to take along to a horse show as a snack and they were a hit! Didn't put the icing on since they were going to be in a rather warm truck. Very easy recipe, better than the cookies!
