Also to answer the question to a reviewer below, the chocolate topping begins on top of the batter, but during the baking process it sinks to the bottom. :) [Chocolate topping usually comes in a jar on the grocery aisle that has ice cream toppings. It is like chocolate syrup, but has a thicker consistency.]

Turned out great. I used a butter yellow mix instead of yellow. I also made my own choc topping w an online recipe, using a chopped up hershey bar. Lastly, instead of the frosting, I just used marshmallows. I baked the cake for 35 min, layered the marshmallows on top, turned the oven up to 400°F, then baked for another 7 min or so [until the marshmallows puffed and browned]. :) Definitely would recommend!

Didn't taste anything like smores, wasn't pleasing to look at after I was done and I followed the recipe exactly. Taste wasn't that great and the family was only a little partial to it. We ended up not finishing it and throwing it out. Won't make again.

With this wonderful desert, everyone is my family loved it. I am going to have to make it for a family reunion. I also kind of chaanged the recipe a little. I put the marshmellow creme in the middle of it, and also a little bit of the chocolate topping. It was AMAZING that way. I would just change the marshmellow creme to actual marshmellows next time. And I Crumbled the graham crackers on the top too, drizzling the chocolate toipping on top of those. I would have changed that topping to the ice cream chocolate shell topping though. It weould have stayed where I drizzled it, not running over the top. But it was still really really good no matter what. To the novices out there, you can try to experiment with other topping if you dont know what the topping actually are, or iof you dont want to have those. Like instead of the fudge or chocolate topping, use a little bit of chocolate milk syrup. It works the same. :)

Made this for our women's group picnic...everyone loved it and requested the recipe. When I got home my husband was waiting to see if there were any leftovers. He said this was a keeper! I did not seem to have any of the problems that others had.

Followed the recipe exactly, however, my cake looked NOTHING like the example. It was very dense; fudge was not on the bottom; marshmallow topping became very liquid on the next day and ran. Tasted ok but husband and I didn't like it well enough to keep it and so I threw the remainder out. Would not make again.
