Oh yum! Very, very good. Simple to make. Great summertime dessert. Wonderful to bring to barbecues or to take along on a picnic. Every time I make them someone wants the recipe. They get devoured!

These are definitely one of my favorite things to do with Golden Grahams cereal. I've been making these since I was a little girl and still love them. I also leave more of the marshmallows unmelted to stir in with the cereal (maybe 2 or 2 1/2 cups) because they are just better that way. Also, you can't complain about the gooey thing...that's part of the charm. Plus, you can set them up in the freezer much quicker than in the fridge if they are needed at a sleepover party STAT! ;-)

I substituted 1/2 cup of peanut butter for 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and it was delicious. I also recommend melting the butter then a whole bag of marshmallows, adding in the karo and chocolate chips later. Also, do this in a large pot and add the cereal to it instead of pouring the mix over the cereal in a bowl. It spreads easier when it is slightly warm.

Sooooooo yummy!! Ended up a little chewy down the road a couple of days later. But I think I will try some of the modifications to see if that helps. All sound like great suggestions!

these were really good - my kids loved them! i made a couple of changes that i believe enhanced them... i did not melt the choc chips with the marshmallows -- i used a larger bag and held out about a cup, then mixed the remaining chips in at the same time as the graham cereal so they partially melted. i sprinkled the remaining choc chips on top of the bars along with the 1 cup of marshmallows (instead of mixing them in). i then put the whole thing under the broiler until the marshmallows were golden brown, just like they would be if you roasted them over a campfire. YUM!!! that really gave them the toasted flavor i always look for in a true s'more.....

i already reviewed these once, but have since made some additional modifications. every time i take these anywhere i always get requests for the recipe.... omit the Karo syrup - makes them too gooey. lightly crush the grahem cereal reserve 2 cups of marshmallows; melt the rest with the butter in a large saucepan. after melted, add the vanilla. mix with cereal, then pat into a well-greased/sprayed pan. sprinkle all of the choc chips evenly over this mixture, then the reserved marshmallows. put under broiler for about a minute (watch carefully - they will burn quickly). let cool slightly and serve. grab your serving quickly -- they won't last! this one's a keeper!!!

This is quick, easy and DELICIOUS!!!!! I made it with the milk chocolate chips and it would still be delicious with fewer chips but it's not necessary. I sprinkled a few extra marshmallows across the top, too, for looks only. Everyone thought it was great. There wasn't even a crumb left over when I made these! I will definitely make these for our Labor Day camping trip!

These are soooo good! My mom made them when I was little and still does. I now make them for my family! You can also drizzle chocholate over the top to make them even better!
