I love the simplicity of this dish. Lots of great flavors with
the cayenne pepper, Dijon mustard, and fired roasted tomatoes.
I can't wait to make this one.
Also, I have a quick prep skillet version that I used to make.
Country Pasta- Pre-heat a skillet over medium heat. Add pre-cooked egg noodles (one packet of dry noodles) to skillet. Add one can of Sloppy Joe sauce to noodles, stirring lightly.
Slice 8 ounces of Sharp Cheddar cheese. Add cheese to noodle
mixture. Stir ingredients together to blend in the cheese
thoroughly. Cover skillet with lid. Reduce heat to low. Allow the Country Pasta to simmer until cheese has melted.
About 15 minutes.
For added flavor, saute a sliced yellow onion, mushroom slices (one package), & green pepper slices (one large pepper) in
a pre-heated skillet and one tablespoon of cooking oil. Then,
add the Country Pasta ingredients as listed in this recipe.
