This quiche was excellent. When I served this dish, several peopletold me how good it was and asked for the recipe.I don''t particularlylike Salmon, but it tasted wonderful. I especially liked the ease inwhich it can be made. I added a rose, made from a tomato, in the centerof the quiche for color and eye appeal.

I made this quiche at Christmas time, and it turned out to be a small disaster. The pan they reccommend using was too small for the quiche; as it baked the filling was bubbling over the edges into the bottom of my oven! Also, the crust was way too thick for the rest of the quiche, it made the dish quite dry and not too tasty. The actual quiche part was fabulous, but if you make this at home, I would advise to half the recipie for the crust, and then make your quiche. It will be much better when the quiche isn''t 2/3 dry crust! Other than that, I really enjoyed this dish.

Since we don''t care for Dill, we put chives in....also, to keep salt level down, use onion powder or a little grated onion....This really is a great recipe and one that cana be used for different occasions.

Very showy on a brunch buffet! Use the thinnest asparagus spears you can find, and substitute Havarti DILL cheese for the regular Havarti for additional dill flavor. Don''t scrimp on the salmon; use the best quality you can get.
