I thought this soup was terribly bland. My husband liked it but I couldn't eat it. I NEVER throw away food, but I did end up throwing away about half of this soup. I tried adding ingredients to fix it, but I don't think this soup can be fixed.

A big hit! One diner commented that the flavor was just like what you would get at a family owned Italian restaurant. The simple spices pack big flavor. Super easy prep---just a little veggie chopping in the morning, then add the noodles right before dinner and its ready to go!

I loved this recipe. I tweaked it a bit-- leaving out the stuff I don't like and maybe adding a couple of veggies I do, but for the most part I stuck to the recipe. I loved it and had delicious leftovers for a couple of days. Really good with breadsticks or garlic bread and bread bowls. I intend to make again!!!

I used Picante Clamato instead of tomato juice to give it a little kick. I didn't use pasta, I added a can of kidney beans, a can of cannellini beans, and a can of garbanzo beans instead. I'm thinking of trying Italian seasoning next time instead of the basil and oregano measurements. This recipe is perfect for making overnight and taking a thermos of it to work on a cold rainy day.

Turned out pretty good except a little to heavy on the rosemarry and oregano. Overall, a good soup

This soup is great. My 19yr.old granddaughter asks me to make it once a week. Didn't have tomato juice so I added two 8oz. cans of tomato sauce plus 16oz.water. Also, add one can of white beans and one of red. Cooked the pasta separate. Served with garlic bread. Makes a hearty meal.

It was wonderful!!! My husband is a meat and potatoes guy and when I looked for the leftovers to eat for lunch, they were gone! After calling him, he told me he took them! That was enough to let me know to make it again!!! Love it!
