We love this one! We use a 3 qt crock pot (it fills to the brim), and I add a little sage, salt, and pepper. The turkey always turns out super moist and the stuffing is flavorful. And it's so easy! I also like to soak the (thawed) breast in a brine overnight for extra flavor. :)

I liked this a lot, but for heaven's sake add salt. Next time I would add cinnamon and other spices as well. Too bland as is, but great potential.

I tried this last night and was asked by the hubby ( Do you like it? ) Not a good sign. To tell the truth it did seem dry after 8 hrs. I did add a T. of honey and salt & pepperd the turky after reading one of the last coments.

Very bland. Cranberries and nuts give it a boost, but probably will not make this again.

Delicious and very healthy. Next time I will try not completely cooking the rice first because it gets a bit soggy and I think I will try to add the apples a little later on because the flavor seemed to have drained out of them. This makes a lot of food and I think it was even better reheated.

I made this for Thanksgiving dinner this year. It was so easy and delicious. I couldn't find a boneless breast, so I used a turkey breast with the ribs still in and it turned out fine. My husband and kids loved it! This is definitely a keeper.

At first I was skeptical about preparing a turkey in the slow cooker. This recipe was easy to follow and took the fuss out while appearing to have taken a lot of time! The turkey and rice were moist and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the added color and texture of the apples, almonds and cranberries.
