I made this for the first time a while back for a family bbq and my uncle and cousin loved it, they were asking me for the recipe. I have family members that dont even like baked beans but they eat and love the taste of these. Way better then canned baked beans.

Since there are only 3 of us here I halved the recipe. I used 1 can of each of the 3 beans, everything else was exactly 1/2. I cooked them on low & thought they were done in 2 hrs, but was planning on 4 to coincide with dinner, so let them cook for 4 hrs. The house smelled wonderful, they tasted awesome & even better the next day! Making them again tomorrow for the 4th. This time it will be a full batch!!!

We loved this dish, easy and we have leftovers. I added Guinness beer also and I used Budweiser BB-Q sauce. A lovely smell was added to the house while it simmered. Hubby said it's a keeper!!! I may consider bringing this for a potluck too sometime later on in the year.
