I made this dish last night and it was soooo good! I made it exactly as the recipe said plus a small can of corn and a small can of chopped jalapenos (the green chillies gave it good flavor but it wasn't spicy at all!). Next time I might use a little less beef, use real onions, maybe add some green or red pepper and use only half of the soup envelope (it was a little salty) but overall it was very good!

I made this dish a little differentlt than the original recipe. I used only 1 can of beans, no chilis, and I added a half of a fresh onion and a quarter of a fresh bell pepper and a couple of cups of watwer and I simmered it on the stovetop for about a half an hour. The meat was tender and thje dish was delicious served over white rice with cornbread on the side!

Really easy and very tasty recipe. We always use ground turkey in our chili so that was a simple, but powerful switch. I loved the tenderness of the beef. I stuck to the recipe exactly but could easily imagine future modifications because it is so simple (adding green pepper, corn, etc.)

FABULOUS recipe! I like the idea of adding corn. My husband was skeptical ("What's wrong with regular chili???") but he ended up loving it.

This chili was really good...new family fave! I didn't have black beans so used a can of pinto and a can of kidney beans. Everything else I left the same. It turned out great!

This chili is wonderful! Very simple and quick to put together -- and the taste -- absolutely worth the wait. My husband did add about a cup and half of water halfway through to keep it from moist and from burning before we got home. I'm glad he did! It was on for about 11 hours and would burned if he hadn't added the extra water. I also added a can of corn just before serving and I think next time I will add an onion and a red bell pepper also. I served with sour cream and a hard roll. Would have been good with shredded cheese on top also. All in all -- wonderful, easy, very tasty meal for a chilly Fall evening!!!

I made this chili recipe on a chilly, blustery, windy day and it is awesome. I used two 14.5 oz. cans of diced tomatoes WITH green chilis....otherwise made no changes whatsoever. I did not add the 4.5 oz can of green chilis. It turned out quite spicy, which we like. This one is too easy to be this good. Its a real keeper!

My husband put this together in our slow cooker. The only thing he did different was to use a London broil which he cut up in small pieces. It turned out great! I can't wait to do this one again.

I used flank steak, 1 can of black and 1 can of pinto beans in addition of fresh jalopeno peppers out of the garden (I wanted to make this and didn't want to make a trip to the store). The meat was very tender, easy to make and it was done in approximately 4 hours. My husband was surprised that it didn't have actual onions in it and suggested that for the next time, he also said that he would like the meat cut smaller next time and try a different type of steak. All in all it is a keeper.
