Very yummy and tender. Not very spicy though. Added chili powder and garlic to kick up the flavor a bit.

I use boneless thighs--they are easier to deal with. I also add the peanut butter at the beginning, and it's fine (I add some extra near the end to increase the peanut flavor.) This is really good, and it makes more like 6-8 adult servings, not 4 like the recipe states.

Based on the previous reviews, I cut the cinnamon in half and doubled the amount of peanut butter. Also, I don't have really large crock pot, I cooked it on the stove in a dutch oven on low for about 4 hours. I shared it with some friends and they loved it and have asked for the recipe. Will definitely make again.

This recipe was not bad. In my opinion, it did not have nearly enough peanut butter in it- I would not have considered it a peanut sauce, rather a tomato sauce with peanut butter in it. I tasted it before cooking and it seemed rather spicy and quite flavorful, but after cooking in the crockpot, the spice and flavor really dissipated. I even added extra peanut butter and cumin. I would like to try this again, but I will really add a lot more flavor.

Really tasty. Didn't have cumin so substituted coriander seed. Thought it was great especially with the dry roasted peanuts. I also added extra tomatoes because we like those. the chicken just feel apart. Awesome.
