This was excellent. I used KC Masterpiece sweet and tangy with about a quarter cup of original KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce because that's what I had on hand. I cooked a half a chuck roast, because I only needed 6 sandwiches. Instead of boiling the sauce down, I brought it to a boil and removed about 3/4 cup, adding corn starch to it. I blended it and added it back into the remaining sauce to thicken it. Worked perfectly. Then I poured most of it back over the beef and served in warmed hamburger buns. Delicious. Will make again.

This was so easy and great! I made it for a get together and everyone kept telling me all night how great it was. I didn't make any changes and will definitely make it again soon.

This recipe is amazing! The only problem I had was with the sauce. I accidentally let it simmer too long and ended up burning it. So I just mixed some root beer with some barbecue sauce and mixed it in with the shredded roast beef. Everyone loved it. My mother in law even said I needed to make it at least twice a month.

This recipe is delicious! After letting it cook all day, I shredded up the beef and let it simmer in the juice for another 20 mins. It was delicious. I served it on onion buns.
