Slow-Cooker Pizza Dip

Take your favorite pizza toppings, including sausage, pepperoni, and cheese, and blend them into a powerhouse dip for baguette slices.

Ingredients

lb bulk Italian pork sausage

small onion, chopped (1/3 cup)

cup sliced pepperoni, chopped (2 oz)

cup ketchup

jar (14 oz) pizza sauce

cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)

baguette French bread, cut into 56 thin slices

  • 1 In 10-inch skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir in pepperoni, ketchup and pizza sauce.
  • 2 Spray 1 1/2- to 3-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spoon sausage mixture into slow cooker. Stir in cheese.
  • 3 Cover; cook on Low setting 2 to 3 hours.
  • 4 Stir dip before serving. Serve with bread slices.

Expert Tips

Bread, toasted and cut into triangles, can be substituted for the baguette slices.
