This is one of my favorite dishes to make for the family. It is always a huge hit. I like a lot of pineapple so I use a 20oz can of pineapple tidbits.

I admit I was relucant to try this recipe but I think it's my new FAVORITE taco recipe. It is REALLY YUMMY and so easy. I did add a can of chicken broth to cook the meat in then decided to go ahead and not drain any of it when adding the pineapple and lime juice. So good didn't need any toppings except some cheese. Gotta try it to believe it. You won't be disappointed

Sounds good, but don't you need to put some liquid over the roast when you put it in the slow cooker? I thought you always had to put some type of liquid over what ever you were cooking in it.

This was a great recipe! I did however use crushed pinapple, and I added a little chicken stock to the crock pot so the meat would not dry out, and I also put in some onion and a jalapeno.

Try it - you will love it! All of us were hesitant to try these tacos, but this has turned out to be one of our favorites for Wednesday Night CrockPot Dinners.
