I made this for a card party with family and it was excellent. Very easy to make and used fresh peaches. Served with vanilla ice cream. Yummy

Haven't tried this yet but plan to this weekend. For those of you who find too much moisture on the crock pot lid - place layers of paper towels under the lid to absorb the moisture & prevent it from dripping down onto the cobbler thus making it soggy. I always use paper towels when I make a cake in the crock so would probably work here as well.

Started cooking this recipe at 6:30 this morning, loaded it up at 7:45 a.m. to bring to work; It has been cooking since 8:15 this morning and still is not ready at 11:20 a.m.. I used frozen peaches and there is so much moisture in the slow cooker that it is nothing but mush. I gave this recipe to a co-worker a couple of months ago and she used fresh peaches...her's turned out great. Recipe Edit Suggestion: THAW frozen peaches before cooking!!!!! I thought about thawing before I got it started this morning but figured Betty Crocker knew what she was talking about or at least Blogger Angie McGowan of Eclectic Recipes did. Everyone at my office keeps asking when the cobbler will be ready. I am disappointed to tell them that it won't be.

This is a great recipe and usually turns out perfectly....except for yesterday. I was out of regular milk so I used Almond milk thinking "milk is milk" - how wrong I was! It did not rise to the top but sunk to the bottom and turned to plastic! What a disaster! DON'T EVER SUBSTITUTE REAL MILK WITH ALMOND MILK!!!! Bad idea!!!!

i made the cobbler for Labor Day, my family is kind of picky, if not the old fashion way it is not good .It was a instant hit. I did add 4 fresh peaches, a little cinnamon, 1/2 stick of butter, and 1/2 cup more sugar. the last 30mins. was cooked on high. did not have any to bring home. they love it. VERY EASY AND VERY GOOD, and wii make again

Having trouble getting the review to post....Added extra Bisquick to thicken the batter and it definitely helped. Also cooked on high setting. It was very tasty and wonderful...I will make this again!

I had high hopes for this recipe, even after reading reviews, but was disappointed also. I added cinnamon to peach mixture and to topping. I felt like too much milk was added to the bisquick. The topping was too thin and went to the bottom. I cooked for 3 hrs on low in the right size crock pot and the topping set up some, but could still see a paste underneath fruit. Needed more flavor also. Don't know if I'll try again.
