EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Serve this stew topped with shredded Mexican cheese blend and chopped fresh cilantro leaves for an extra-special touch.

Frozen small whole onions, also called pearl onions, are loaded with flavor and are so convenient to use. If you don’t have them on hand, you can substitute 1/2 cup chopped onion.

This was easy to make and was good, but next time I would omit the bag of onions and replace with chopped onion. I would add hot sauce or something to make it have more of a bite to it. May add small potatoes. And would serve with tortilla chips. That would take it from 4 to a 5 rating.
