Slow-Cooker Marinara Sauce with Mozzarella Cheese Dip

Marinara sauce plus fresh mozzarella equals an easy and delicious meatless appetizer. Just 4 ingredients and 5 minutes prep time and this cheesy bread dip's started in your slow cooker.

cups chunky marinara sauce (from 26-oz jar)
oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cubed
tablespoons chopped fresh basil leaves
loaves (10 oz each) baguette-style French bread, cut into 1/2-inch slices, toasted
  1. Spray 1 1/2-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Pour marinara sauce into cooker.
  2. Cover; cook on Low heat setting about 2 hours or until hot.
  3. Stir in cheese and basil. Cover; cook on Low heat setting about 30 minutes longer or until cheese is just starting to melt. Serve with baguette slices. Dip can be kept warm on Low heat setting up to 2 hours; stir occasionally.
Makes 24 servings (2 tablespoons dip and 4 baguette slices each)
