Slow-Cooker Hearty Steak and Tater Soup

Every spoonful of this hearty soup is brimming with beef and potatoes in a rich broth.

Ingredients

pound beef boneless round steak

pound small red potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices (4 cups)

medium stalks celery, chopped (1 cup)

medium carrots, chopped (1 cup)

medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

cloves garlic, finely chopped

tablespoon beef bouillon granules

cartons (32 ounces each) Progresso™ beef flavored broth

jar (6 ounces) Green Giant™ sliced mushrooms, undrained

cup water

cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour

  • 1 Cut beef into 1x1/4-inch pieces. Mix beef and remaining ingredients except water and flour in 5-quart slow cooker.
  • 2 Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours.
  • 3 Mix water and flour in small bowl; gradually stir into soup until blended. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook about 30 minutes or until slightly thickened.
