Okay so I tried out this recipe tonight for Thanksgiving tomorrow. It has not totally finished yet but I took a little piece off of the roast and the potato with the juice(sauce)...OMG it is soooo delicious. I listened to the other reviews about the roast and sauce not being seasoned enough, so I added extra seasonings to the roast and stirred in a little in the juice (sauce). The only other thing that I changed was I got a pork roast instead of beef because I made 2 roast and the beef one was already seasoned. The pork roast weighed 10 lbs, so I had to multiply the recipe by 5 and it was no big deal. I would totally recommend this recipe.
