I used chicken instead of beef and chicken broth instead of beef broth. The cooking time had to be decreased because it did not take near as long to cook. I was a very good recipe. i would recommend it to friends, and next time I make it I'm using beef!

what kind of ginger are we talking about? How much would you add? Someone that has added ginger, soy sauce, or teriyaki please let me know.... I have a picky family!

This was pretty good; but as others have said, somewhat bland. I added more soy sauce to my dish after I served it. I would make it again; but try to increase the flavor of the sauce.

This was very good and quite tasty! I followed the recipe as it was written, but next time I'll add ginger, simply because so many others recommended it.

The first time I made this, it burned up in my slow cooker. Not sure what I missed but the second time I added an entire can of beef broth instead of 1/2 a cup. The flavor was not as strong as I was expecting and I even added extra teriyaki baste and glaze. However the beef was very tender and moist. Would make this again and try adding some ginger.

The best thing about this recipe is the easy. The sauce was pretty bland, but that's easily fixable. After it cooked and noticed this, we added some soy sauce and garlic to add flavor and salt. Next time we make this, we'll add soy and garlic along with some ginger from the begining.

Pretty good and very easy. The night before I mixed up the sauce and cut up the meat and veggies. I didn't have any seaseme seeds, so I left those out. I also made some whole wheat noodles in place of the rice. I added a little seaseme oil to the noodles, and it gave it a nice extra flavor. I would make it again.

I made some changes to this recipe. I added more mushrooms and broccoli. I also increased some of the sauce ingredients (the beef broth and teriyaki glaze/marinade). I felt it was missing some flavor, so I added some ground ginger to taste. As printed, this is a 4 spoon recipe. But with the changes I made, it was a keeper and I would give it 5 spoons.
