I agree with cshem, I cooked it for the minimum length of time for low (5 hours) and the edge was indeed burned and inedible, while the center was totally dried out. I may try again but cook for half the time.

I don't know why the recipe title is for the hostess with the mostess. Are you living in the 50's. Mamy men cook too now days. I'm going to try this with gluten free Bisquick, maybe one day there will be women that BBQ too, Oh wait My sister is a master BBQ chef every summer. I'll rate this when I done.

The recipe was easy to prepare, and the combination of flavors was tasty. However, a 3-4 hour cooking time on high is way too long. We checked the quiche at 2 hrs and 15 minutes, and all was fine. When we returned to check again at 2 hrs and 40 minutes, about a half inch of the edge was burned and inedible. We would make it again, but recommend cooking it for just a bit longer than 2 hours (if cooking on high).

I made this for work on friday and it is terrific! I used the tomato and basil feta cheese instead of adding the basil and sun dried tomatoes. I cooked on high and it was ready in about 2 1/2 hours. Definitely recommend!!
