I put 1 lb of precooked smoked sausage and 2 cans of tomatoes in the slow cooker. Was quite a bit more generous with the hot sauce than 4 drops! Did't have any creole seasoning as some suggested, so added a teaspoon of Old bay. I added 12 oz of shrimp when the time came. Was delicious and have enough for another meal for the two of us. Will only have to make some rice.

This recipe was very good it's low calorie and very filling. I added creole seasoning for extra spice.

I make this dish every year for our apartment cook off...it is always been a great hit. I absolutely love this recipe. I sometimes add my own additional spices...to give it more of a kick. I am making it this year for a tail gate game as well as our cook off. Great winter treat..So Yummy (and so easy)!

Tasted very good and the strong garlic smell kept the mosquitos away lol. I combined the rice at the end and added Adobo for flavor. I cooked it in 6 hrs on low though.

I made this tonight and thought it was ok. I didn't think it tasted much like jambalaya though.

Wonderful dish very easy to make. I added a couple of extra drops of hot sauce to give it some extra heat. I also substituted smoked turkey smoked sausage and whole-grain rice to make it a little healthier. My husband wants me to make it again.

I used chicken instead of shrimp and turkey sausage instead of smoked sausage. If I make this again, I will have to add more spices because the turkey sausage is not as flavorful as the regular stuff. I also added ocra and liked that.
