I really enjoyed this meal, and even my husband said he was pleasantly surprised! (He had a sandwich on stand by, lol!) I cooked the peppers in the crock pot on high for two hours and the peppers were perfectly tender and the couscous was nice and fluffy! The spices were just right, it didn't seem bland at all.

We enjoyed this meal; however, I substitued the couscous with peas. The cinnamon is the key...it added an extra special flavor.

After adding more seasonings than the recipe called for, this actually turned out pretty good. If you follow the recipe, I''m pretty sure it will be a little bland. I also cooked them in the oven instead of a slow cooker.

I thought it was just Plain Jane. Something was definatly missing. Next time I may "doctor it up" by adding chunks of celery and more spices.

I found this to be one of those "fix it & forget it" recipes. Came out perfectly & since I''ve never cared for rice, couscous is a wonderful substitute! You can play with the flavors/spices in this as well as putting more than 2 in the crock pot.The leftovers (if you have any) will freeze, but you''ll lose the skin on outside of the peppers. Grren Pepper season is coming soon..... so add this one to your collection!!

This dish was edible, but not much else. The flavor is something like what you would get with meaty spaghetti when you run out of tomato sauce. I would not recommend this recipe to anyone.
