I doubled the recipe and substituted 1/2 cup crème fraiche for 4 oz. of the sour cream. Only needed about 5 hours in the crock pot. Didn't need to mash, chunky mashed potatoes are good too! Very tasty and will make again!

I have no idea why someone would write a review offering a critque of the cooking method when it should be about the recipe.If you dont like it close the window and move on.I thought it was good.I have a life so I use my crock pot alot and take advantage of turning it on and doing things I need to do.So this worked well for my family.
