I made this and it was fabulous. I used chocolate fudge pudding instead of just chocolate pudding and did not use as many chocolate chips. I also highly recommend using a liner in your slow cooker.

I tried this great recipe too, Hmmm, Hmmm, delicious!!! I cooked it 31/2 hours on low, but was still too soupy so I zapped it in Microwave for a few minutes. Worked great! Now tell me; can this be adapted to a conventional oven?

This cake is easy to make and tastes great. But, make sure to use the parchment paper otherwise you will be soaking your slow cooker crock overnight!

Made this recipe for my boyfriend on Valentines day, and added a bottle of red food coloring to make it extra special...a Red Velvet Chocolate Lava cake. :) We topped it with vanilla ice-cream, needless to say, he loved it!!! A winner in our book! Also, the parchment paper worked like a charm to keep the cake form burning! :)

Love this recipe! Being a chocoholic I had to try it and everyone loves it. We serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it is a perfect winter dessert. I had no problems with it turning green or being soupy and I cooked it for the time it called for and on low. I am a skim milk kind of girl but I did use whole milk in this, don't know if it makes a difference but it is super yummy.

Wow, this was REALLY rich! Don't make it just for yourself! :) I had to leave this in the slow cooker for AT LEAST 3 hours, possibly 4. But then it looked pretty solid on the top so I figured it was done. It was very tasty but I'd only make it for a crowd! Phew! :D

Yes, i had the same problem. I looked up other recipes and they all said cook on high. I turned it to high and cooked it 45 min longer and it now looks like cake instead of soup.

Going on 3+ hours now on low and the cake is still a pool of chocolate. To serve at this point would require a ladle. I followed the directions exactly as written. Anyone else experience this?
