This would be a great beginner's recipe, extremely easy and pretty tasty. I followed the recipe exactly but it did cook faster than the recipe says, after 4 hours it started sticking. Everybody loved it at dinner with a loaf of fresh baked bread. I think I'll stick with old fashioned potato soup though.

Great, quick and easy recipe. I like that it is easy ingredients. I would rinse & drain the ham as it came out quiet salty. It certainly is a keeper!
