Have you ever been surprised by a recipe in a good way? I definitely was tonight with this dish. It was so easy to make. Brown the beef, chop the veggies and cheese, then mix it all together in the slow cooker. My honey said these reminded him of old-fashioned loose meat sandwiches, like from a diner. A hearty, easy, delicious and cheap dinner I will be making again.

Recipe was alright, just a little bland...so I added cream of mushroom soup and dry onion soup mix to the recipe...a little salty so I do add a little milk. My family loves this and I sometimes put the mixture on small dollar/sandwich buns and take to parties.

Our family thought this lacked flavor. Very easy to put together and cook in the slow cooker. We added garlic powder, worcestershire sauce and somw other seasonings to give this more flavor.

I never buy velvetta anymore, trying to eat healthier. My husband loves the stuff though. I have been cooking almost all my meals for 2 months in the slowcooker and wanted something other than stew, roast etc. This was pretty tasty but very salty, maybe next time I'll use sloppy joe sauce and cheese for a different flavor.
