Very tasty! I always use a low sodium or mild version when I have a recipe calling for a packet of spices. It always comes out great! I have used beef stew meat for this recipe instead of the steak as well.

This was delicious! I used 2lbs of ground beef instead and one can of rotel and one can of diced tomatoes. There was still plenty of spice in it! I browned the beef before putting in the soup and added salt and pepper to it and to the soup as well. It cooked in about 6-7 hours.

I made this for my husband and added jalepenos because he loves them in eveything. He said it tasted great but was more like a soup than chili. It needs to be thicker so i also had added tomato paste. I do recommend this recipe all thought next time i will use ground beef rather than cubed steak.
