Made this last week, a very good soup! I did, however, more than double the broth it called for, and it still wasn't enough! I did use baby carrots instead of just cutting up one large one, as another reviewer suggested. And the cheese tortellini is just perfect in this! Next time, though, I will add alittle more beef. With a salad and bread, the perfect meal!

Yummy, I made it just as it says except I used 32oz of beef broth, it turned out great. My husband says it needed more meat, but he ate every bit of it, even my kids ate it.

Delicious! I couldn't find my Crock Pot, but I gave it about 4 hours on the stove, and it was amazing! The whole family loved it- even my picky children!

This is a very good soup that my entire family enjoys. Very filling and very easy to put together. Even though this is a fall/winter type meal, I have made it a couple times in the summer when I have needed an easy meal for a busy day. They only reason I didn't get it 5 stars is because stew beef tends to dry out when reheated and veggies become mushy with reheating, as they would with any dish.

My husband is picky and he loved this recipe - he said it was so good he wanted to drink the juice/broth. I added brown sugar instead of reg sugar and added a bay leaf to the broth while it simmered all day. I will make this again for sure!!

my slow cooker recently broke so I put into a stock pot and cooked when I got home from work. Took about a 1 1/2 hours and was so good. I too used the beef broth instead of the bc and my family loved it.
