I have made this recipe a few times and it has been great every time. I would suggest seasoning the beef with Janes Mixed up Salt. Very easy to make!!

This was a great recipe for two. However, I think next time I'll add some beef gravy to it for a little better taste. Overall, though, I loved the ease of it! Thanks!

This was very tasty and just right for two (No leftovers!) Will make again, the only thing I will do differently is to season the beef (salt and Pepper)4.5 before starting the crockpot.

Easy recipe that works. It turns out a tad bit more sour than I am used to but it has a great flavor. Had to double the recipe because I couldnt find half a pound of stew meat and it turned out great. The sauce was very thick, might add 1/4 of a cup of water next time.

This was very tasty!! It reminded me a lot of cooking stew beef, but reagrdless it was wonderful. My boyfriend also commented on how much he liked this, and he is SUPER picky, so that was an accomplishment!

There is another version of this recipe... I cooked it and it was fabulous! I didn't know there was a (Cooking for 2) version, but I must ask... the meat is cut down to 1/4 in this recipe and there is no cream cheese! I don't understand. Anyone who really liked this, may want to try the full version. I would add less than 2lbs of stew meat (plus mine was so tender the meat just fell apart - so it was more shreaded). There is either Golden Mushroom Soup OR Cream of Mushroom - NOT Creamy Golden Mushroom! I used the Golden Mushroom.

I made this a couple of weeks ago and it was LOVED. My other half (who eats like a bird) even came back for seconds. I revised the recipe a little which I would recommend doing so that it suits your tastes. Overall though a very good and CHEAP meal. You can adjust the measures for more people.
