I don't know why this only has three stars, because it is amazing! I usually make a roast in the slow cooker the same way, but I decided to try some new roast recipes. I never brown my roasts or anything before I put them in, and I used bacon you can cook in the microwave in 25 sec. anyway, so it worked out. I let it cook for 8 hours on high (that's what I usually cook roasts at) and it was fine. Made with boiled potatoes and boiled fresh green beans and some buttered bread. SO good.
