Awful!. We have three generations living under one roof. No one liked it. Too many other good recepies out there then to try this one.

This is so yummy, I do the same with chicken but for spices I use onions, garlic, salt, pepper and fresh cilantro. Instead of flour tortilla's we warm up white corn tortillas. Thanks for reminding me of this idea Sarah, haven't made it in years, and haven't tried the beef with liquid smoke. Going to try it this weekend.

YUMMY and different! I have never had these before and decided to cook something a little bit different, so I made these today. They are so flavorful and tender - I am beside myself. I did add a little water this morning to the crockpot just to make it extra juicy and kept flipping the brisket every 2 hours, but everything else I followed the recipe exactly. I like the flavor of the liquid smoke. Thanks for the great idea!!

Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy this, Shootergirl! Unfortunately, the liquid smoke is an important part of the recipe (and especially the flavor) so that was likely the flavor issue here. Also, if you don't find the meat fork tender after cooking time, it needs to cook a little longer. Brisket becomes more tender the longer it cooks. Best wishes, Sarah

This recipe is okay. I was not impressed at all. I followed the directions with the exception of the liquid smoke. The meat did come out very tender, but I was not thrilled with the taste. I will not be making this again.
